Mr. Murphy spent many years managing BDI (Brake Diaphragm, Inc.) in Nampa, Idaho, USA prior to the company being sold to Motion Control Industries. After its sell in 1997, Mr. Murphy stayed on for a few more years as plant manager before starting his own rubber diaphragm facility in 2001. Along with Mr. Murphy's efforts, WRP has put together a team of personnel with experience totaling over 40+ years in the rubber diaphragm industry. It is this experience that has enabled Western Rubber Products to produce products of high quality consistently. In just a short amount of time, WRP has already become a major supplier of rubber diaphragms to Original Equipment Spring Brake Manufacturers across the United States. WRP products are also rapidly distributing through many aftermarket channels including various export countries throughout the world.
